The Queen is back! But this time as Goddess Laxmi! Kangana Ranaut and Amitabh Bachchan have come together to spread the message of cleanliness in this amazing Swacch Bharat campaign video!

The Video
Kangana Ranaut is the latest to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat campaign. The video highlights how people in the country believe that Goddess of wealth, Laxmi, resides in a clean surrounding, yet they continue to litter around. Directed by ace filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar, the video is titled Don't Let Her Go, 'Her' being referred to Goddess Lakshmi essayed by Kangana. In the 2.45 minute video Laxmi is holding a pot with gold coins, who moves away whenever someone carelessly throws garbage. Other actors featuring in the video include Isha Kopikkar, Omkar Kapoor and Ravi Kishan. Adding flavor to the video is megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s voice-over. A delight to hear! “I, Amitabh Bachchan, request you to keep your environment clean. Swachh Bharat should not only be Prime Minister’s dream but all of ours,” he says in the video.

A Simple Lesson
It gives us a valuable lesson of keeping our country clean and how it should be the personal goal of every individual. We should do away with practices like littering around, keeping our house clean while emptying garbage on the streets. Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth only stays in a clean place. That mythology is adapted very well in this video. The Queen actor, at the launch of this video, said her life changed after she adopted these techniques. “I studied Vedanta, followed Swami Vivekananda. I learnt how can I uplift myself, uplift energies and make changes. Like, it has various factors, external and internal cleanliness. I started with external cleanliness… It is a basic exercise. When I started adopting that, things started changing in life. Now, I take shower, stay clean and make sure I don’t litter. I haven’t littered for the past 12 years.”

Well, if Queen can do it then even we can! Millennials, let us do our bit to keep our nation clean!
