I slept on streets outside stadiums to play tennis tournaments

I started playing tennis when I was 18. I fell in love with it. I didn’t have money. But I had the perseverance to play. I played a lot of tournaments. Learning with every loss and playing even harder at the next. But I realized I had to take up a substantial job. And so I did. I started working with Oman Airlines. I loved the job. In between shifts, I used to play tournaments again. I started teaching tennis in my spare time. I’ve played for 44 years straight. And now I want one thing above all else – to start my own tennis academy.
